From low key BYOBs and pubs to elegant candlelight dining, East Passyunk Restaurant Week boasts a diversity of dining experiences and cuisines that offers something for everyone. Kicking off both the spring and fall seasons is the twice-a-year Manayunk StrEAT Food Festival & Restaurant Week, a neighborhood-wide celebration devoted to showcasing local restaurants, food vendors and the bountiful harvest. Philly’s finest food trucks show up with delicious local dishes ranging from savory BBQ to sweet desserts as local vendors sell homemade oils, jams and fresh fruits and vegetables. Highlights include the Canal Street Beer Garden, yoga classes, 3D sidewalk chalk art and Recess, the kids' zone featuring face painting and a moon bounce.
